2016: #CreativeIntersections

#CREATIVEINTERSECTIONS showcased an interactive two-day conference and learning forum that presented interdisciplinarity as an alternate way of thinking and problem solving.

The conference consisted of three main streams, presentations, workshops and brainstorming sessions. Delegates had the chance to engage with interdisciplinarity through these activities.

The objective of the conference was to construct a new, creative road map where academic disciplines can physically and figuratively cross boundaries; highlighting “intersections” where new mediums, theories and connections could be identified and made.

This outcomes based conference allowed delegates to learn new skills, collaborate with their creative community and work on individualised projects that had the capabilities of living beyond the conference dates.

This is an inactive creative conference that included art installations and unexpected multidisciplinary happenings that looked to bend and open your mind.
